Bollywood romantic action flick, Yeh Mohabbat hai, directed by Umesh Mehra and written by Usmon Azim was released on February 8, 2002. The movie starred Rahul Bhatt and Akansha Malhotra in lead roles while Nasir Khan, Danny Denzongpa, Parikshat Sahni, Arbaaz Khan, Johnny Lever, Shakti Kapoor, Mohini Sharma, Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Rakesh Bedi and Gulshan Grover also played significant characters in the film. The hit melodious music of the movie was composed by Anand Raj Anand and Raju Singh in collaboration nwhile the bsongs were rendered by Sonu Nigam, Udit Narayan, Sunidhi Chauhan, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Sapna Awasthi and Shubha Mugdal.

The movie starts with young and handsome, Chand ( Rahul Bhatt ), who is in love with a beautiful girl named Shaheen ( Akansha Malhotra ) since his childhood. Shaheen too loves him. Both are determined to get married with each other and there appears no problem in their marraige. But complication starts when Chand is asked to make a team to play cricket. He do so and unfortunately get involved with a terrorist group. Then appears a police inspector named Chauthe ( Sadashiv Amrapurkar ) who declares Chand a terrorist.

He claims that he has enough evidence against Chand to prove him a terrorist. Conditions become even worse when Chand disappears from there. Everyone believes that Chand is a terrorist except Shahheen, who still believes that Chand is innocent and is been tried to frame in the wrong case. She decides to take it on her own to prove Chand innocent in front of her family memeber as well as in front of the law.
