Yeh Zindagi Ka Safar was a romantic movie released on November 16, 2001 under the banner of Vishesh Films. The movie was directed by Tanuja Chandra and produced by Mukesh Bhatt. The important roles in the movie were played by Amisha Patel, Ehsaan Khan, Jimmy Shergill and Gulshan Grover while the presence of Nafisa Ali and Rajpal Yadav supported the film. Music of the film was directed by Sajid-Wajid while the songs were sung by Sonu Nigam, Shraddha Pandit, Kumar Sanu, Jaspinder Narula, Hariharan and Alka Yagnik.

Yeh Zindagi Ka Safar was directed by director Tanuja Chandra who had earlier produced movies like Dushman and Sangharsh which were also produced by the producer Mahesh Bhatt. The story of the movie revolves around a young and beautiful girl Sarena ( Amisha Patel ) who was happy the way her life was going. She has a loving father Vivek Dewan ( Gulshan Grover ) and her relationship with him was going great. She wanted to be a pop singer and was on the verge of becoming one.

On the other hand we have Jai ( Jimmy Shergill ) whose life was completely different. He was a struggling journalist and dreamt of having an office in Nariman Point someday. But for that he needed some great news. He published that the pop star Sarena was not the real daughter of industrialist Vivek Dewan, who managed to keep it a secret for years. This made Vivek not only angry but ensured that he take legal action against the journalist. While Sarena realized that Jai has written truth about her father.
