SRK and Aamir put up a united front

Shahrukh Khan and Aamir Khan might have a war of their own going on the blogs for quite some time now but they have decided to put their differences apart and put a united front in front of the multiplex owners. The industry has united in their battle against the multiples owners. Their differences are not bigger than the clan is. There will be no movie released at a multiplex for an indefinite period. The last movie released at the box office was 8×10 Tasveer starring Akshay Kumar.

Recently all the big names of the industry sat down to find a solution to the problems. The people at the discussion included Mukesh Bhatt, Karan Johar, Ronnie Screwala, Yash Chopra besides SRK and Aamir. The moviemakers are asking for a fifty percent stake in the profits that the multiplexes make. The moviemakers say that the multiplex owners are not ready to take any sort of risk if the movie flops. The profit has to be divided equally for every movie whether small of big, as is the case in other countries.

Sajid Nadiadwala has postponed the release of his movie Kambakkht Ishq indefinitely. Shortkut that is being produced by Anil Kapoor has also been put on hold. It looks like that the blackout on the screen is here for some time to stay. Analysts say that the losses from the ticket counters are if a huge magnitude and could go up to billion pounds in a year.

Multiplex owners say that if the movie does well they are ready to share profits. The multiplex owners re thinking of telecasting IPL matches since that will keep their houses full during this time of strike by Bollywood biggies.
