It looks like Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan are ready to battle it out once again at the box office on 3 July. SRK will be seen in the movie Dulha Mil Gaya whereas Salman is a part of Wanted. The producer so the movie Vivek Vaswani says that he wants to capitalize on the fact that US has its independence day on 4 July and SRK has a large fan base over there. So more people might turn up at the theatres and the collections might improve.

He says that Boney Kapoor who is producing Wanted has not approached him. Vivek says that had he been approached he could have shifted the release of the movie and the clash could have been avoided. From the looks of it nobody wants to avoid the clash instead, they are looking to battle it out for the box office superiority. Earlier also there has been a time when their movies clashed. The last case was with their movies Saawariya and Om Shanti Om.

Vivek was also quick to brush aside the rumors that SRK had intentionally delayed the movie. There is no truth to this report and is baseless. If in fact, anybody delayed the movie it was because of death of my father. Later SRK had a shoulder surgery that further delayed the schedule. Things have been delayed but a bit but no fault of SRK in the delay.

He also confirmed the news that Anil Ambani’s Big Pictures has decided not to go ahead and buy the rights of the movie. The decision they took was purely professional taking look into the recession and the economic slowdown. We will approach them once more on the completion of the movie says Vivek.
