It was a good wait for all the Shah Rukh Khan fans when his Chak De India released almost two weeks back , because the star had been missing from the screen, last seen before that on Don. Even as this movie rides on the patriotic euphoria. much boosted by both of it’s critical and commercial success, Shah Rukh would be giving a lot of appearances on the big screen, what with Diwali being awaited with great anticipation for the fact that it is synonymous with big screen releases, and of course Shah Rukh’s movies are an inseparable part of that.

This friday, the Bollywood Badshah would be seen in Sajid Khan directed Heyy Babyy, doing a cameo appearance in the song ‘mast kalandar’. But for all those who are dying to see him create some more magic have two good reasons to look forward to: they will watch the superstar in Farah Khan directed Om Shanti Om, and once again a special appearnce in Vivek Vaswani’s Frdeen Khan - Sushmita Sen starrer Dulha Mil Gaya. Seems like a trend ? Well, it does. because while Chak De India is being followed by a guest appearnce by Shah Rukh in Heyy Babyy, and Om Shanti Om being followed by Dulha Mil Gaya, you can trace this back to last year when after the release of Don, the King Khan followed it up with a special appearance in, now a good friend of his, Arjun Rampal’s movie I See You, which didn’t quite see much success at the BO!

Well, trend or no trend, if Shah Rukh has re-invented himself with a powerhouse performance in Chak De India, with his powerful portrayal, we can only wait and watch him create even more magic on the silver screen, with a promise to set the box office on fire, as has always been associated with his name. Even though Neha Dhupia once said that only sex and Shah Rukh Khan sell, you can easily see with his record in the past few years too, that SRK is even bigger and far better than sex.
