Sukhwinder Singh is currently residing on the no. 1 position of bollywood singers after giving multiple hits this year. Few years back, he was just an another struggling singer making it hard to come at top. He first came in limelight when he won the Best Male Playback Singer award at !999 Filmfare Awards for Chaiyya Chaiyya of Mani Ratnam’s Dil Se.

Now, Sukhwinder Singh is a leading singer of the bollywood industry. Very few knows that his debut song was Aa Ja Sanam of the movie Khilaaf starring Madhuri Dixit in it. But unfortunately the song was not much liked by the people. And after that failure he started to work much harder on his voice and in the process toured many countries in order to learn various form of music.

Sukhwinder was appreciated for his evergreen voice in films like Taal, 1947-Earth, Biwi No. 1, Pyar Tune Kya Kiya etc. And also this year he has given two musical hits, title track of Chak De India and Dard-e-disco from Om Shanti Om. It seems that the duo of Shahrukh Khan and Sukhwinder Singh rocks the charts everytime. Infact his popularity increased a lot this year after he sung patriotic Chak De India for King Khan.
