After reading the headline many of you might be wondering whom this Tanay Chheda is. He is another child actor how never received any special attention from the media just like Darsheel Safari did. He is the person who played the character of Darsheel’s handicapped friend in the movie Taare Zameen Par. If you are still not able to remember him, he is the one who played the middle aged Jamal in the movie Slumdog Millionaire.

He unlike his counterpart Darsheel has decided to stay away from the limelight and concentrate on his studies. He says tha acting is just a hobby and he likes to write a lot of stuff. He has made sure that he goes through all his exams. Luckily, major portions of both his movies have been shot during the holidays so that his studies have not been affected one bit.

He has now signed on for My Name Is Khan that is being directed by Karan Johar. He will play the character of Shahrukh Khan during his younger days. Good going getting to work with Karan after having worked with Aamir Khan and Danny Boyle. He is also having a movie Mastang Mama that will be releasing next. The actor knows that all his life might pass and he might never have another experience like Slumdog but he says a line from his movie it is all about destiny.

He shares his experiences on the sets of Slumdog. He said that the makeup time used to be unusually long, as they had to darken their skin before the shoot to match the skin tome of all the three people who portrayed the character of Jamal at different times. He says that he is keeping in touch with the entire crew though mails.
