Koena Mitra has been missing for the scene for quite a few years now. The last movies that one can remember seeing her are Cash and Heyy Babyy, which were in the year 2009. This year she will be seen in two movies Ayan and Asal. However, despite her absence from the silver screen, the actor continues to make news sometimes for her nose job and sometimes for her experiments, she has tried on her body.

This time around again, her body tattoos have made her the centre of attraction. The actress seems to be replacing jewelry with tattoos on her body. She has already had two tattoos one on her belly and one on her ankle. The person who is doing all the tattoos on her body is Abhinandan Basu who works at the Aalim’s studio in Versova. The tattoo on belly is in the shape of a chain and she has love written on her index finger.

Now her latest tattoo in one on her ankle in the form of chain of thorns having spikes piercing through the hearts. An interesting idea one must say and the tattoo will be the first multi colored tattoo she had inked in red and black. She mentioned the pain that she had to go through as the tattoo was on an anklebone, which can be painful.

Even though the tattoo was smaller, she had to go through more drills than for the one on her belly. She also mentioned the trick is to keep them small so that you can hide them when you want unlike those huge tattoos consisting of faces and motifs.
