Neeraj Pandey who rose to prominence last year after he directed the movie A Wednesday has made a very tough decision. He had to select the movie that he will be directing next and he had a tough decision to make. After he finished off A Wednesday he entered into an argument with UTV pictures dealing with the rights issue. He wanted to make a prequel to which they did not agreed and sold the rights of the movie to somebody else.

Now finally the issue has been resolved and they have given him the go ahead to make the prequel but here comes the catch in the meantime he had given his word to Ekta Kapoor that he will direct a movie for her. Being a man of his word, he will be keeping his word and his assistant will now direct the prequel. He will keep one eye of this project also and see to it that things run smoothly.

The prequel will not be able to use the name A Wednesday as this was one of the clauses that UTV pictures had kept when they reached a resolution. The entire caste will remain the same though and they all set to shoot. In fact, they are getting impatient with so much delay in getting the movie on the way.

Now the movie that Pandey will direct for Ekta will be base on a true real life story. The movie will revolve around the life of a scamster. Quite a dilemma to have a director having to select movies to direct when sometime back you were looking for work.
