The songs were sung and the music composed nearly decade back but even today when they appear in the background score of our movies they are able to recreate the magic of those yesteryears. A classic example of that would be the movie Kaminey that borrowed 2 tracks from Asha Bhosle and R.D.Burman. Good use of Do Labzon Ki Hai Yeh Dil Ki Kahani and Duniya Mein Logon Ko meant that the musicians had to work a bit less in creating the music rather use the tested and already ht music.

Now again in the movie Main Aur Mrs Khanna will be seen using another track again the artist remains the same that is R.D. Burman. The song titled Bade achche lamge hain yeh dharti yeh nadiya yeh raina aur tum will play in the background. Now there is a special reason and story as to why the makers zeroed down on this track.The name of the character that Kareena plays in the movie is Raina.

Another reason for using the song was to increase the level of intimacy between the characters of Sohail Khan and Kareena Kapoor. Whenever the two will come to face the distinct sound will make its presence felt in the background. Now this was not the only track they had in mind. There were also talks of using the track Raina beeti jaye from the movie Amar Prem but after a vote, the former song was chosen by a unanimous decision.

Though they have purchased the rights of the song, it will not feature on the audio CD’s of the movie rather it will only be heard in the movie.
