After making an impression with her character in Aamir Khan’s Taare Zameen Par, Tisca Chopra is all set to enact one of the main character in Sanjay Gupta’s Alibaug. Tisca have played the mother of lead Darsheel Safari in Taare Zameen Par.

The actress who started her career 15 years ago with the movie Platform. She was opposite Ajay Devgan in that film. However the film was not the big hit and she was forgotton by the audience. But after performing a cameo in Hyderabad Blues she once again came into limelight. And from then she managed to be present in audience minds.

Her controlled and balanced act in Taare Zameen Par has made some appreciation coming her way. Aamir Khan has already praised her for her motherly act in the film. The story of the Taare Zameen Par was about a boy whose skills were not understanded by his father. But then a drawing teacher, played by Aamir Khan, comes into his life and change his life totally.

Tisca is really going strong guns as she is playing one of the important character in Alibaug which also stars biggies like Sanjay Dutt, R Madhvan, Rohit Roy, Mansi Joshi Roy, Mandira Bedi, Gul Panag, Sameer Soni, Sudhanshu Panday, Sanjay Suri and Dia Mirza. The film is expected to arrive around April 2008.

However for the time being, Tisca Chopra, has been asked by Naseeruddin Shah for taking a few classes for teaching the new students at Subhash Ghai’s Whistling Woods International School. Now what more can Tisca wants after this.
