Aashiq Banaya Aapne, directed by Aditya Dutt was released on September 2, 2005. The movie starred Emraan Hashmi, Tanushree Dutta and Sonu Sood in lead roles. And the superhit music of the movie was given by Himesh Reshammiya. This film marked the debut for sexy actress Tanushree Dutta.

The movie revolves around two buddies Karan ( Sonu Sood ) and Sneha ( Tanushree Dutta ). Karan loves Sneha but is an introvert in expressing his love to her. On an occasion Sneha meets the extrovert and flirty Vicky ( Emraan Hashmi ). Vicky is Karan’s childhood friend but is not a bit shy like him in expressing his feeling to anybody specially to girls. Problem arises when Vicky joins the same college where Karan and Sneha are.

Sneha falls for Vicky’s charismatic personality. But known to Vicky’s bad intention, Karan ask him to opt out of the relationship with Sneha. But vicky tells him that he is really in love with Sneha and won’t do anything wrong with her at all. Karan believes him and sacrifices his love for Sneha’s happiness. But after a shocking incident Sneha’s dream get shattered. He starts hating Vicky for that particular incident. Now Karan finally gathers the courage to tell Sneha about his love for her and propose her on a fine evening. But Vicky once again came back in their life and unviels the real truth behind the whole incidents happened in past.
