Anuradha Paudwal is a renowned female playback singer of bollywood. She completed her education from Xavier’s college. She started her career by crooning a ’shloka’ in Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan starring Abhimaan. But her first break as a playback singer came in the year 1976 in the form of Shatrughan Sinha starrer Kalicharan. The music of the film was highly appreciated by the people.

She became popular after rendering some beautiful song in Subash Ghai’s Hero. Later she collabrated with T-Series head, Late Gulshan Kumar, and gave many hit song back to back in the films such as Tezaab, Aashiqui and Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahi. She won her first Filmfare Best Female Playback Award in 1990 for crooning ‘ Nazar ke saamne jigar ke paas’ for the movie Aashiqui.

Her track ‘Dhak dhak karne laga are re mora jiya ra darne laga’ from the movie Beta was appreciated a lot by audience. Infact the actress, Madhuri Dixit, on whom the song was actually picturised became famous overnight. She also sang many devotional songs for T-Series company. After a gap of almost five year, she made a comeback in playback singing with the movie Pukar. She once again shot fame after rendering the hit track ‘Chaha hai tujhko chahungi har dum’ for the movie Mann.
