Bollywood star Suniel Shetty aka Anna was born on August 11, 1961 in Karnataka, India. Besides being a good actor he is also a successful business man. He started his acting career with 1992 released Balwaan. The movie failed to do well at the box offcie and Suniel Shetty remained unnoticed by the audiences. But his performance in the next film titled Waqt Hamara Hai alongwith Akshay Kumar was highly appreciated by the audiences.

His first major hit was also with Akshay Kumar in the form of action thriller Mohra. After that he gave some another hit movies such as Dilwale, Gopi Kishen, Takkar, Shashtra etc. But his another major breakthrough came in the form of Krishna and epic war film Border in the year 1996 and 1997 respectively. Later he turned towards some comedy films such as Hera Pheri, Awara Pagal Deewana etc.

He won his first Filmfare Award for Best Villian category for his brilliant performance in the movie titled Dhadhkan. He then started a production company named Popcorn Motion Pictures Ltd under which he produced some flop films like Khel, Rakht etc. But he also produced a hit movie Bhagam Bhag under his production company. Now a days he is mainly doing substantial roles in multi starrer films. His forthecoming film Mission Istanbul is waiting to get released.
