Usha Mangeshkar was born in the year 1935 in India. She is a trained classical singer. She is the younger sister of Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhonsle. She has mainly sung some devotional songs. She shot to fame after crroning the hti devotional song ‘ Main to aarti utaaron re santoshi mata ki’ of 1975 released Jai Santoshi Maa.

She was even nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer for this particular song. She has also sang some of the same songs again in the 2006 released Jai Santoshi Maa, which was infact the remake of the previous film. She won her second nomination for Filmfare Best Female Playback Singer for the song ‘ Mungda mungda main gud ki dali mangta hai to‘ of the movie Inkaar.
