Emraan Hashmi, popularly known as a ‘serial kisser‘ was born on March 24, 1979 in Mumbai, India. He is often seen in Bhatt camp films. He made his acting debut as a second lead actor in the year 2003 with Footpath. Though the film failed to do well at box office but his performance was praised by audience.

But he actually shot to fame with his second released Murder opposite sexy damsel Mallika Sherawat. He gave many hot scenes with his co star Mallika in the film. In his next films such as Zeher, Aashiq Banaya Apne, Kalyug etc he remain sticked with his serial kisser tag. But after giving some very good performances in Gangster and The Killer, he proved to everyone that he can also act well.

It is interesting to note that though all his films did not perform well at box offcie but all the songs from the movies have become instant hits. His neat and clean performance in Awarapan was also liked by audience. His recently released Jannat opposite newcomer Sonal Chauhan is also doing well at box office.
