The action movie Aaj Ka Robinhood was released in the year of 1987. The movie was directed as well as produced by Tapan Sinha. The major roles in the movie were played by Ritesh Talwar, Nana Patekar, Utpal Dutt and Robin Ghosh while the presence of Satish Shah, Master Ravi and Anil Chatterjee supported the film. The story of the movie was also written by Tapan Sinha.

The movie Aaj Ka Robinhood was an action film that revolved mostly around Jatin Chatterjee ( Anil Chatterjee ) who was living a poor lifestyle in ancient India that was governed by the British people. The people in India wanted to get India freed and this is why he was also involved with the people protesting against them. One day he was on a run from the local authorities and was helped by Shyam Jadhav who takes him under his shelter to protect from the British people.

Shyam takes him under his guidance and teaches him and then subsequently hires him to teach his sons, Ram ( Utpal Dutt ), Ramdas ( Satish Shah ), and Ramdulaare ( Nana Patekar ). Some years later, all the children have matured up and were married. They also had their children who were also Jatin’s students. There was a guy named Tetra ( Ritesh Talwar ) who was very intelligent but was not their student so he was also included as their one of the students and started studying with them.
