Bollywood family drama, Aasmaan Se Ooncha, directed by Mehul Kumar was released in the year 1989. The movie starred Govinda and Sonam in lead roles while Anita raj, Jeetendra, Raj Babbar, Pradeep Saxena, Mac Mohan, Jagdish raj, Ajitesh, Dev Kumar and Sadashiv Amrapurkar also played important characters in the film. The hit music of the movie was directed by none other than well knwon music director Rajesh Roshan while the songs were rendered by Kumar Sanu, Mohammed Aziz, Abhijeet, Shabbir Kumar, Sadhana Sargam etc.

Kishen ( Jeetendra ) runs a gas station and is living a happy life alongwith his younger sister, Reshmi. Kishen rescues a beautiful girl named Anita Singh ( Anita Raj ) from four goons who were trying to molest her. Anita tells her that she has escaped from her house as her cruel uncle wanted to sell her to someone in return of a large sum of money. Kishen then provides her shelter in his house and soon they both falls in love with each other. But the goons who tried to assualt Anita, returns and molests Reshmi.

Kishen manage to kill one of them and is arrested by police. Anit, who is pregnant with Kishen child, tries to kill herlself but is saved by a police ispector named Ranjit Malik ( Raj Babbar ). Anita then gives birth to a child and names him Vikrant aka Vicky ( Govinda ). Years later, Vicky is now a grown up guy and is in love with a beautiful girl named Pincy ( Sonam ). Ranjit is trasferred to Bombay in order to arrest the underworld don named King, who is none other than Kishen.
