Bollywood women oriented movie, Ab Bas, directed by Rajesh Singh was released in the year 2004. The movie starred Shawar Ali and Daina Hayden in lead roles while Nisha Harale, Praveen Sirohi, Nigar Khan and Monalisa also played important characters in the film. The melodious music of the movie was directed by well known music director Daboo Malik while the songs were rendered by Kunal Ganjawala, Kalpana, Anuradha Paudwal, Kumar Sanu, Sunidhi Chauhan, Udit Narayan, Shreya Ghoshal and Shaan. However, the movie failed to do well at the box office and no body in the film won positive reviews from audeince for their act.

The movie starts with a beautiful women named Soumya ( Diana Hayden ), who wins a beauty contest and become famous overnight. Young and handsome businessman, Karan ( Shawar Ali ), get smitten by Soumya’s beauty and proposes to her. Soumya first resist but Karan’s kind nature ins her heart and she agrees to marry him. Soon they both get married to each other. Soumya gets pregnant and delivers a baby girl. Everything goes fine untill and unless Soumya reveals the dirty truth of her husband that he is having an extra-marital affair with some one. Initially Karan offers an apology and settles the dispute.

But Soumya learns that Karan is still having affairs with other women and this enrages her more. She tries to confront Karan again but this time he gets physical with her and beats her brutally. Soumya decides to go from his life and ask for divorce. But Karan is not willing to give her divorce at any cost. Soumya runs away from home alongwith her daughter but Karan follows her everywhere. In the end, Soumya decides to stand up against Karan on her own.
