Anokha Bandhan was a social drama that was released in the year of 1982. The movie was directed by Mehul Kumar and produced by Ratan Irani. The major roles in the movie were played by Jeetendra, Shashikala, Shabana Azmi and Aruna Irani while the roles of Ashok Kumar, Seema Deo, Jagdeep, Satyen Kappu, Mukri and Naveen Nischol were equally important. The music of the film was directed by Usha Khanna while the songs were sung by Shabbir Kumar, Asha Bhosle, Alka Yagnik and Amit Kumar.

Anokha Bandhan was a good social film that managed to hold the attention of the audience for a long time. The story of the movie mostly revolved around a person named Anu ( Shabana Azmi ) who also has a mother-in-law ( Seema Deo ). The movie starts when her mother-in-law, while on her deathbed, asks her that she will look after her young son Ram ( Master Bittu ) like her own. Anu agreed to take care of him and with this her mother-in-law passes away.

Sometime after this, Anu and her husband Shyamlal ( Navin Nischal ) also become the parents of a baby when Anu gave birth to her son. The movie takes a trun when Anu got involved with her own son and was not able to look after Ram as she used to do earlier. But Ram was a responsible child who accepted the fact and started loving his younger brother very much. The two child were very much together and did all worl together until Anu’s mother comes to meet her.
