Baal Bhramachari was a romantic movie released in the year 1996. The movie was directed and produced by Prakash Mehra. Puru Raaj Kumar and Karisma Kapoor played the leading roles in the movie while Tinu Anand, Deepak Tijori, Mukesh Khanna, Shakti Kapoor, Mohan Joshi, Bindu and Anant Desai were casted in the supporting roles. Vinod Rathod, Bappi Lahiri, Alka Yagnik, Asha Bhonsle, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Abhijeet, Udit Narayan and Ran Shankar sang the songs of the movie.

Thakur Raghuveer and his wife do not have a child .Thakur decides to donate the land to his friend professor Vijay .The professor dreams of building a college on that land. This angers Bhujbal Choudhary ( Mohan Joshi ) who wanted to build a factory on that land. He also ran a college that offers fake degree to students. Bhujbal Choudhary decides to kill professor and his wife to accomplish his plans. However, before he could kill his wife she delivers a baby boy Pawan.

Thakur adopts two children Pawan ( Puru Raaj Kumar ) and a second child of their accountant named Balbir. The accountant greed for the wealth of Thakur leads him into making several failed attempts to kill Pawan. They both go to the same college run by Bhujbal Choudhary. The sons of Bhujbal Choudhary namely Vikram and Ranjeet are also involved in his illegal activities. In the college Pawan falls in love with Asha ( Karisma Kapoor ). Asha brings a drastic change in the life of Pawan. The duo then gets married. Pawan comes to know about the dream of his real father. Bhujbal Choudhary is furious at all this and swears out to kill all the members of Thakur’s family.
