Bade Dilwala was a romantic action movie released in the year of 1983. The movie was directed as well as produced by Bhappi Sonie. The major roles in the movie were played by Rishi Kapoor, Sarika, Tina Munim and Jagdeep while the supporting roles were played by Kalpana Iyer, Madan Puri, Amjad Khan, Pran, Aruna Irani, Bharat Bhushan and Roopesh Kumar. The music of the film was directed by R D Burman while the songs were sung by Udit Narayan, Lata Mangeshkar and Kishore Kumar.

Bade Dilwala was a romantic cum action flick that revolved mostly around a widowed ma named Mr. Sinha ( Pran ). He is a wealthy industrialist now and has made his name across the globe. He lives a comfortable life with his family consisting of his two daughters Juhi ( Sarika ) and Reshmi ( Tina Munim ). Both the girls are now of marriageable age and were required to get married and their father wanted them to get married to equally wealthy families.

But the movie takes a twist when Juhi fell in love with a middle-classed young man named Vijay Kumar Gupta ( Rishi Kapoor ) which was not liked by Sinha. Sinha refused to bless them which made them reside away from their home. Years later, Vijay and Juhi became the parents of a baby named Munna. Sinha forgives the two now and wanted them to report to him. The train in which they were travelling meets with an accident in which Juhi gets killed.
