Bees Saal Baad was an action and suspense film released on February 3, 1989. The movie was directed by Rajkumar Kohli and produced by Nishi Kohli. The major roles in the movie were enacted by Mithun Chakraborty, Meenakshi Sheshadri, Dimple Kapadia and Om Prakash while Shiva, Amjad Khan, Jagdeep, Anupam Kher, Shakti Kapoor and Jankidas were also there in the film. The music of the film was directed by Laxmikant Kudalkar and Pyarelal while the songs were sung by Anuradha Paudwal, Lata Mangeshkar, Hemant Kumar, Sarika Kapoor and Mohammed Aziz.

Bees Saal Baad was a good action and suspense film that revolved mostly around Kiran Thakur ( Meenakshi Sheshadri ) who is the only child of wealthy widower, Thakur ( Anupam Kher ). She was living in Britain at the moment but her father lived in the rural India. The day when she was returning to India, her father went to receive her at the airport but was shocked to see her with the company of a man named Suraj ( Mithun Chakraborty ) whom she referred to as her husband.

Though Thakur was shocked but welcomes him with respect. While on the way back to home, Suraj sees a woman in white blocking the road, but was surprised to see that the driver didn’t stop the car for her. They get off the car and sees behind that there was no one on the road. The same night, Suraj dreams of the same woman in white and she tells him that she is Nisha ( Dimple Kapadia ), his wife from a previous birth. Using her magical powers she inserts a nail in one of Suraj’s legs on a new moon night.
