The romantic action film Bhagwan Dada was released in the year of 1986. The movie was directed by J Om Prakash while it was produced by Rakesh Roshan. The key roles in the movie were enacted by Rajinikanth, Iftekhar, Sridevi and Tina Munim while Danny Denzongpa, Deepika, Vijay Kashyap, Shobha Khote, Yunus Parvez, Satish Shah and Hrithik Roshan were also there in the film. The music of the movie was directed by Rajesh Roshan while the songs were sung by Kishore Kumar.

The movie Bhagwan Dada was a romantic cum action film that started with a man named Swaroop ( Rakesh Roshan ) who comes to Bombay with only Rs 80 in his pocket which he soon loses to a local thief. He was helpless as he didn’t know anyone in the city and he was also a simple man. He was then helped by a man named Bhagwaan ( Rajinikanth ) who helped him to regain his lost amount and he also advised him to return to his village as the city is not good for the simple guys like him.

Swaroop decides to stay there only and instead fight with the wrong people. With the help of Bhagwaan he not only got a roof over his head but also got an employment. Soon Swaroop comes across a beautiful girl named Bijli and finds himself attracted towards her. But there was one thing that he didn’t know that Bhagwaan was a gangster of the town popularly called as Bhagwaan Dada and Bijli was a woman of questionable character and in fact a woman working as a prostitute.
