Top songs of Davpech
Davpech was an action movie released in the year of 1989. The movie was directed by Kawal Sharma and produced by Padmini. The key roles in the movie were played by Jeetendra, Prem Chopra, Bhanu Priya and Shakti Kapoor while the presence of Manek Irani, Chandrashekhar, Sunil Dhawan, Dinesh Hingoo, Renu Joshi and Bob Christo supported the film. The music of the film was directed by Anu Malik while the songs were sung by Shailendra Singh.
Davpech was an action movie that revolves around the central character Bajrangi ( Jeetendra ) and his sister, Sharda ( Gauri Verma ), living in a small village in Central India. They have been orphaned at a very young age. Sharda was of marriageable age and should get marry soon. Therefore Bajrangi arranges for a suitable groom for her and his dad also agrees for the marriage but on one condition that Bajrangi should arrange for a dowry of Rupees ten thousand.
Somehow Bajrangi manages the money and the date of the wedding is set. While getting some milk for her brother, Sharda gets molested by the dairy farm Manager and his employees, but Bajrangi comes to her rescue. After this incident with Sharda, the price of dowry gets doubled. Bajrangi and Sharda were unable to stand the taunts of villagers and also the raised demand of dowry, so they with their Kaki ( Renu Joshi ) relocates to Bombay.
