The thriller movie Fareb was released on July 8, 2005 under the banner of Dayal Creations. The movie was directed by Deepak Tijori and produced by Rajesh Singh and Sanjeev Jaiswal. The actors in the lead roles were Manoj Bajpai, Shamita Shetty, Shilpa Shetty and Riya Sen while the roles of Parmeet Sethi and Milind Gunaji were also important. Music of the film was directed by Anu Malik and the songs were sung by Kunal Ganjawala, Sunidhi Chauhan, Alisha Chinoy, Shreya Ghosal and Udit Narayan.

The movie fareb is more of a love triangle than a thriller movie with Shetty sisters playing the role of girls loving the same man and thus competing for others. The movie incorporates the elements of erotica and murder mixed with great skills. Fareb is an emotional thriller movie that revolves around three main characters Creative Director of an Ad-Agency Aditya ( Manoj Bajpai ), Medical Practitioner and his wife Neha ( Shilpa Shetty ) and his client Ria ( Shamita Shetty ). Aditya loves his wife Neha a lot and is happy living with her and their son.

Aditya come across Ria as she is his ad-agency’s client and a married corporate. They were supposed to meet regularly due to their business meetings and this is how she started developing a soft corner for him. He didn’t approve their relations in the beginning but gradually he also started liking her. Therefore a rift between Aditya and Neha was expected. The major twist in the story comes when Ria’s husband gets murdered and Aditya was arrested as a prime suspect. Aditya was also blackmailed by some anonymous person because of his affair with Ria.
