The family drama Farz Aur Kanoon was released on August 6, 1982 under the banner of Roja Pictures. The key roles in the movie were enacted by Jeetendra, Raj Kiran and Hema Malini while Rati Agnihotri was also there in the film. The music of the film was directed by Laxmikant Kudalkar, Pyarelal and Bappi Lahiri while the songs were sung by Asha Bhonsle, Suresh Wadkar and Kishore Kumar.
