The social movie Haiwan was released in the year of 1977 under the banner of Family Film Club. The movie was directed by Ram Rano. The key roles in the movie were enacted by Deb Mukherjee, Prema Narayan, Nazneen and Joy Mukherjee while Rakesh Roshan and Padma Khanna were also there in the film. The music of the film was directed by Bappi Lahiri while the songs were sung by Shailendra Singh, Kishore Kumar, Hasrat Jaipuri, Amit Kumar, Mohammed Rafi, Hemant Kumar and Asha Bhosle.
