Bollywood romantic suspense thriller, Hawas, directed by Karan Razdan was released on March 24, 2004. The movie starred Shawar Ali and Meghna Naidu in lead roles while Tarun Arora, Vivek Shaq, Mukesh Tiwari and Madina also played important characters in the film. The hit melodious music of the movie was composed by the well known famous music director Daboo malik while the songs were rendered by Sonu Nigam, Sunidhi Chauhan etc.

The movie starts with an Indian couple, Raj Mittal ( Shawar Ali ) and his wife, Sapna ( Meghna Naidu ), who lives a wealthy lifestyle in Dubai. Raj works for a British firm. Raj wants to earn the sufficient money so that he can relocate to US alongwith his wife. But in the process of earning the sufficeint money, he starts avoiding Sapna. Sapna on the other hand just want his love and nothing more than that. Sapna used to spend his time in shopping or meeting her friends. She tries to fill her empty time with these stuffs but for no use.

One day Sapna meets with an accident and a guy named Ajay Rastogi ( Tarun Arora ) comes to her rescue. Sapna gets attracted towards Ajay and starst meeting him regularly. Soon she goes beyond limits and even get physical with him. But when Raj suspects her for having an affair with someone, she simply call off the3 affair. Raj hires a detective for revealing the truth. But Raj and Sapna’s life gets upturned when Ajay’s dead body is found by police.
