Hello Brother was a comedy movie released on September 10, 1999 under the banner of G S Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. The movie was directed by Sohail Khan and produced by Bunty Walia. The actors in the lead were Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Rani Mukherjee and Johny Lever while the roles of Neeraj Vora, Razzak Khan and Shakti Kapoor were also important. Music of the film was directed by Himesh Reshammiya and the songs were sung by Sonu Nigam, Hema Sardesai, Jaspinder Narula, Kamal Khan, Alka Yagnik and Udit Narayan.

The movie Hello Brother directed by Salman’s brother Sohail Khan was a proper entertainer with correct doses of comedy and action. The story of the movie revolves around Hero ( Salman Khan ) who is an ambitious guy wanting to make big in his life. In spite of being an orphan, he still has enthusiasm for life. This fun loving guy works for a courier company headed by Khanna ( Shakti Kapoor ). He had his best friend in Ranee ( Rani Mukherjee ) who lives in the same basti and along whom he has grown big.

For Ranee who works as a nursery teacher, Hero is a dear friend and nothing more. She has her dream man that turns out to be Vishal Singh ( Arbaaz Khan ). Vishal is a top officer from Delhi Narcotics Division who has been transferred to Mumbai to battle the drug dealings going there. Vishal’s inspections lead him to conclude that the drug dealings were done by Khanna who used his courier company for this purpose. But Hero was not aware of the trade and has to give up his life when he comes to know about Khanna’s dealings.
