The movie Himmat Aur Mehnat was a family drama released on November 27, 1987. The movie was directed by K Bapaiah and produced by B S Shaad. The key roles in the movie were played by Jeetendra, Kader Khan, Sridevi and Satyen Kappu while the supporting roles were played by Raj Kiran, Divya Rana, Shammi Kapoor, Shakti Kapoor and Shobha Khote. The music of the film was directed by Bappi Lahiri while the songs were sung by Mohammad Aziz, Asha Bhosle and Kishore Kumar.

The movie Himmat Aur Mehnat was a family drama that revolved around a nurse named Jyoti ( Sridevi ) who gets hired by a wealthy man named Madan ( Shammi Kapoor ). Jyoti’s works were very impressive and this is the reason why she was able to win Madan’s heart and thus was allowed to do anything in the house. The twist in the story comes when Madan’s son Vijay Kumar ( Jeetendra ) who was studying abroad in New York returns home. He first sexually molests her and eventually marries her.

The movie takes a serious turn when differences arise between Jyoti and Madan and despite of the birth of a son, both Madan and Vijay both accuse her of having an affair with another male, leaving her no choice but to leave the household. With the change of heart, Vijay decides to pay her a visit to see the health status of his family but when he visits his wife and son, he was shocked to see that they are not alone, and she has given birth to another son.
