Bollywood musical family drama, Intaquam, directed by R. K. Nayyar was released in the year 1969. The movie starred Sanjay Khan and Sadhana Shivdasani in lead roles while Ashok Kumar, Anju Mahendru, Leela Chitnis, Rajendra Nath, Rehman, Asit Sen, Helen, D. K. Sapru, Dulari and Jeevan also played important characters in the film. The melodious music of the movie was directed by the hit veteran music director duo Laxmikant Pyarelal while the songs were beautifully crooned by Mohammed Rafi, Lata Mangeshkar etc.

Rita Mehra ( Sadhana Shivdasani ) is arrested by police in a wrong charge because of the false statement of Sohanlal ( Rehman ). Rita is determined to avenge the humiliation she had faced becuase of Sohanlal’s false statement. After her release from the jail, she get a shock that her mother is no more alive now. She then meets with Heeralal ( Ashok Kumar ), who was former business partner of Sohanlal and was also framed in a wrong case by Sohanlal. They both then plans to set a trap fro Sohanlal.

Rita decides to lure Sohanlal’s only son, Rajpal ( Sanjay Khan ). Rajpal falls in love with her and decides to get married with her only. Soon Rajpal and Rita get married to each other. Now Rita and Heeralal starts the second part of their plan in which Rita has to convince Rajpal for making the Sohanlal’s whole property on Rita’s name. How Rita will convince Rajpal to go against his own father?
