The romantic thriller flick, Ishqiya, is scheduled to release in the month of december 2009. The movie is being directed by Abhishek Chaubey and produced by Vishal Bhardwaj and Sanjay Mehta. The main roles in the movie are being played by Arshad Warsi and Vidya Balan while the presence of ace actor Naseeruddin Shah supports the film. The music of the film is being directed by the music director Vishal Bhardwaj while the songs are rendered Kay Kay, Krishna, Shaan, Shreya Ghoshal, Sundhi Chauhan etc.

The movie Ishqiya is a romantic movie that showcases the love story of a couple ( played by Arshad Warsi and Vidya Balan ). Arshad and Vidya are madly in love with each other and are planning to get married in the near future. But their life gets upturned when an aged guy ( Naseeruddin Shah ) enters in their lives. Naseer falls in love with Vidya and despite of being more in age than Vidya, he tries to woo her. His ‘tries’ to woo Vidya create several funny situations in the film.

The story of the movie is rather a simple one but with the acting efforts of some very fine actors of bollywood industry. Naseeruddin Shah will be seen platying a comic role in the movie after a long time. Director Abhishek Chaubey is making a debut with this movie in the bollywood industry. The movie is to be distributed by the well known Shemaroo Entertainment.
