The action and crime movie Jaan Se Pyara was released in the year of 1992. The movie was well directed and produced by Anand. The important roles in the movie were played by Govinda,  Aruna Irani, Divya Bharti and Kiran Kumar while Suresh Chatwal, Rajendra Gupta and Dinesh Hingoo were also there in the film. The music of the film was directed by Anand Chitragupt and Milind Chitragupt while the songs were sung by Udit Narayan, Sadhana Sargam, Abhijeet, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Mohammad Aziz and Anuradha Paudwal.

Jaan Se Pyara was a good action movie of the time and dealt with the increasing crimes in the society. The story of the movie revolves mostly around Inspector Jai ( Govinda ) who belongs to a middle class family and lived with his mother ( Aruna Irani ) and physically and mentally challenged brother, Sunder ( Govinda ). One day Jai arrests a criminal named Pandey and from him he finds that the actual man behind the crime was another man named Guman Singh ( Raza Murad ).

Jai also arrests Guman Singh and puts him in a cell. Then the series of explosions rock the city with the criminals wanting the unconditional release of Guman Singh from the jail. With the police being helpless and having no clue about the incidents, they release the accused. They also threaten Jai and as a result he resigned from his job. Hoping to save his family and loved ones, Jai tries to rebuild his life with his love Sharmila ( Divya Bharti ). Then again terror strikes and his mother gets killed while Sunder gets kidnapped by Jagtap Singh ( Kiran Kumar ) and Guman.
