The romantic movie Jab We Met has been released on October 26, 2007 and was bannered under Shree Ashtavinayak Cinevision Ltd. It has been directed by Imtiaz Ali and produced by Dhillin Mehta. The lead artists in the film were Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor and Dara Singh Randhawa alon with the supporting actors Kiran Juneja and Tarun Arora. The romantic songs were sung by Labh Jajua, Shreya Ghosal, Shaan, Mohit Chouhan, Sonu Nigam and Mika Singh and directed by Pritam Chakraborty and Sandesh Shandilya.

The actors were so real in their roles that it didn’t feel at any point of time that the story is fiction. The movie starts with Aditya ( Shahid Kapur ) who was facing a bad time as he failed in his business and also as the girl he loved was about to get married. He leaves everything and boards on the train but had no destination to go. He meets Geet ( Kareena Kapoor ) on the train, a cute and talkative girl who just can’t help it. She was on her way to Bhatinda and had plans of settling down with her boyfriend. Irritated Aditya, leaves the train at a station.

Geet in hopes of getting him back in the train gets out and both of them misses the train with no luggage. Then Geet asks him to drop her home and the fun loving and sweet journey begin. On reaching home, Geet’s family thinks Aditya as her boyfriend and soon at the midnight Geet decides to escape from the home to meet her boyfriend. Aditya goes with her and later returns home to join his business. Someday he gets to know that Geet has not returned home since then. He started searching her and the love story between them develops.
