Bollywood action thriller, Jagir, directed by Pramod Chakraborthy and written by Sachin Bhowmick was released on October 20, 1984. The movie starred Mithun Chakraborthy, Darmendra and Zeenat Aman in lead roles while Shoma Anand, Pran, Amrish Puri, Bob Christo, Beena Banerjee, Azad, Danny Denzongpa, Ranjeet, Iftekhar, Sujit Kumar, Kamal Kapoor, Praveen Kumar and Mac Mohan also played significant characters in the film. The melodious music of the movie was given by Rahul Dev Burman while the songs were croooned by Kishore Kumar, Shailendra Singh, Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhonsle etc.

Shankar ( Dharmendra ) is a good hearted bandit, who used to help the poorer. He meets with two another bandits named Sanga ( Mithun Chakraborthy ) and Danny ( Danny Denzongpa ) and befriends them. The decides to perform robbery in collaboration and then will divide the share equally. Shankar meets with a beautiful girl named Seema ( Zeenat Aman ) and falls in love with her. On the other hand, sanga also get attracted towards a beautiful girl named Asha ( Shoma Anand ).

Shankar and Sanga then reveals about their real identity. Shankar is the yuvraaj of a region and his father was killed by Lakhan Singh ( Amrish Puri ). Sanga’s father was the one who saved Shankar’s life but ends up loosing his own hands. Now Shankar and Sanga seeks revenge from Lakhan Singh but the problem is that they have not seen his before. Danny then decides to help them and promise them that he will reveal about lakhan at any cost.
