The romantic comedy film Jai Veeru is currently under production and will be releasing on March 11, 2009 under the banner of Siddhi Vinayak Movies. The movie is being directed by Puneet Sira and produced by Narendra Bajaj and Shyam Bajaj. The actors in the lead roles are Fardeen Khan, Dia Mirza, Kunal Khemu and Anjana Sukhani while the roles of Arbaaz Khan and Rajesh Khattar are also important. Music of the film is being directed by Bappa Lahri and the songs are sung by Tulsi Kumar, Hard Kaur, Javed Ali, Saim, Omer Inayat, Mika Singh, Rema Lahiri and Raja Hasan.

The movie Jai Veeru is a romantic and comedy movie featuring the actors Fardeen Khan and Kunal Khemu in the lead roles. The title of the movie may give you a wrong impression that the movie is the story of Jai and Veeru of the Sholay film but it is a completely different film and holds no similarity except the names of the characters. The story of the movie is about two partners in crime who have bugged the streets of Mumbai. The movie is a hilarious tale of a cop and a crook.

The movie revolves around the two guys Jai ( Fardeen Khan ) and Veeru ( Kunal Khemu ) who were also the best of the friends until one day, both feels betrayed by the other and hence find themselves standing against each other in a court. But in reality there was some one else as well who hated them more than they did each other, he is a famous gangster Tejpal ( Arbaaz Khan ) who wanted to kill both of them. Now the story requires helping each other and also betraying each other if they wanted to survive.
