The action and adventurous film Janwar was released on April 15, 1983. The movie was directed by Ali Raza and produced by Pradyumn Mohla. The major roles in the movie were played by Rajesh Khanna, Yogita Bali, Zeenat Aman and Pran while the supporting roles were played by Prem Chopra, Roopesh Kumar and Nirupa Roy.

The movie Janwar was an action film as can be guessed from its title. The movie was a usual flick that revolved mostly around a Rajkumari ( Zeenat Aman ) who is as beautiful as one can think of a Rajkumari to be. She is a young girl who knows where the treasure is located and is also the ruler of her throne. The movie starts when one day, she come across a man named Raju ( Rajesh Khanna ) and both fell in love with each other.

She has grown in the wild but the day people found that she is the heir to the throne, they relocates her to the place where she should be. She was now a Rajkumari and thus her brain was cleared about who she was and whom she loved. But it was very difficult for her to forget her love and even he was unable to forget her. They still continued meeting each other and the love grew more and more between each other.
