Bollywood action thriller, Kala Sona, directed by Ravikant Nagaich and written by Ramesh Pant was released on July 29, 1975. The movie starred Feroz Khan and Parveen babi in lead roles while Prem Chopra, Danny Denzongpa, Satyendra Kapoor, Bipin Gupta, Durga Khote, Farida Jalal, Keshto Mukherjee, Helen and Imtiaz Khan also played important characters in the film. The melodious music of the movie was composed by the well known veteran music director Rahul Dev Burman while the songs were rendered by Kishore Kumar, Asha bhonsle etc.

Rakesh ( Feroz Khan ) is forced to live the life of an orphan when his father is murdered by someone. However, the assailant also got killed by the police. Years later, Rakesh is now a grownb up guy. He reveals that his father’s murderer is still alive. He decides to take revenge of his father’s murder from that assailant and visits to a village. He befriends a young guy named Shera ( Danny Denzongpa ). He meets with a beautiful village girl named Durga ( Parveen Babi ) and falls in love with her.

He manage to learn that his father’s murderer name is Sardar Poppy Singh ( Prem Chopra ), who is the king of the smuggling of cocaine. But much to the shock of Shera and Durga, Rakesh joins the gang of Poppy Singh. He even kills a police inspector for proving his loyalty towards Poppy. But later he tells Shera and Durga that he is doing all this for getting revenge from Poppy. But what about that police inspector?
