Karam was a romantic action movie released on March 12, 2005 under the banner of Baweja Movies. The movie was directed by Sanjay F Gupta and produced by Pammi Baweja. The top roles in the movie were played by John Abraham, Bharat Dabholkar, Priyanka Chopra and Vishwajeet Pradhan while the roles of Shiney Ahuja and Murli Sharma were also important. Music of the film was directed by Pankaj Awasthi and the songs were sung by Alisha Chinoy, Sonu Nigam, Sunidhi Chauhan and Mahalakshmi Iyer.

The movie Karam is one of the Hit movies of actor John Abraham and it was earlier decided to be titled as “Tera Hi Karam”. Karam is the story of a man tortured by his life and having a dark past, the movie also brings out how he deals with them. It is the story of John ( John Abraham ) who is a killer by profession working for Captain ( Bharat Dhabolkar ). One day he was required to kill all the members of a family. While assassinating a little girl, he held her attention and realized that what he was doing is need good and thus he decided to quit his job.

John now wanted to live a peaceful life with his wife Shalini ( Priyanka Chopra ). But this thing was not easy for him. Meanwhile, Captain also faced life threats from his biggest rival Yunus ( Vishwajeet Pradhan ). Now the angry Captain wants to each the whole city a lesson, a lesson that has not been dreamt until now. He wanted to kill the city’s top industrialist, the cop backing Yunus, top film producer, and after them Yunus himself. To do all this stuff he need the help of his top assassin John who now do not want to pickup his gun.
