The suspense and thriller movie Khoj was released in the year of 1989. The movie was directed by Keshu Ramsay and produced by Kiran Ramsay. The significant roles in the movie were played by Rishi Kapoor, Kimi Katkar, Naseruddin Shah and Satish Shah while Om Puri, Danny Denzongpa, Huma Khan, Maneek Irani and Prema Narayan were also there in the film. The music of the film was directed by Bappi Lahiri while the songs were sung by Amit Kumar, Usha Mangeshkar, Sapna Mukherjee, Alisha Chinoy and Nitin Mukesh.

The movie Khoj was suspense cum thriller movie which was a good movie of its time and was able to grip the audience for a longer time. The movie was full of mystery and thrills as it was expected from the makers of the movie. The movie was directed by the horror kings “Ramay brothers”. The story of the movie revolves around a guy named Ravi Kapoor ( Rishi Kapoor ) who comes across a strange lady named Mrs. Anita Kapoor ( Kimi Katkar ) who claims to be his wife.

But Ravi knew who was his wife therefore he refuses Anita to be his wife and announces that his wife has been missing but the shocking thing with this story was that Anita managed to produce all the necessary proofs that verifies that she was his wife. The evidences included marriage certificates, pictures and photographs of them at their wedding function. Inspector Balbir ( Naseruddin Shah ) was working on the case and even he was surprised with the tale.
