Kyonkii Main Jhuth Nahi Bolta was a comedy movie released on September 21, 2001 under the banner of Shri Siddhi Vinayak Films. The movie was directed by David Dhawan and produced by Ekta and Shobha Kapoor. The key roles in the movie were enacted by Govinda, Rambha, Sushmita Sen and Anupam Kher while Satish Kaushik and Kiran Kumar were also there in the film. Music of the film was directed by Anand Raj Anand and the songs were sung by Udit Narayan, Anuradha Sriram, Poornima, Sadhana Sargam and Alka Yagnik.

Kyonkii Main Jhuth Nahi bolta directed by David Dhawan features his favorite actor Govinda in the lead role. The movie is inspired from the Hollywood flick Liar Liar that featured Jim Carrey in the lead role. The movie was earlier going to be titled as ‘Sajan Re Jhooth Mat Bolo’ but as expected the title of the movie got to start with letter K. The story of the movie revolves around Raj Malhotra ( Govinda ) who is a lawyer practicing in Mumbai High Court. He is a lawyer from small district but to be successful he directly goes to Mumbai.

Here in Mumbai, Raj realizes that a small and true person like him can’t succeed and it is quite difficult for lawyers like him to establish themselves. He knew that he should have a godfather to succeed. He comes across Tejpal ( Anupam Kher ) and was impressed by him. He was helped by his friend Pyare Mohan ( Satish Kaushik ). He soon started chasing Tejpal’s younger daughter Sonal ( Sushmita Sen ) and marries her. The turning point comes when he started lying about everything.
