The comedy movie Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon was released on October 10, 2003 under the banners of Varma Corporation Ltd and Entertainment One. The movie was directed by Chandan Arora and produced by Ram Gopal Varma. The main roles were played by Antra Mali, Govind Namdeo, Rajpal Yadav and Sudhir Pandey while the supporting roles were played by Reeta Bhaduri and Raman Trikha. Music of the film was directed by Amar Mohile and the songs were sung by Poornima, Manoj Mishra, Shreya Ghosal and Sudesh Bhosle.

The theme of the movie is Bollywood and deals with the inside stories of Bollywood movies. This is a story of a young girl, who is passionate about Bollywood star Madhuri Dixit. Chutki ( Antra Mali ) lives in a small town Gajrola with her parents and younger sister. She has a dream of becoming like the famous film star Madhuri Dixit and comes to Mumbai to fulfill her dreams, though her parents didn’t like that and wanted her to marry soon.

An old friend of Chutki, Raja ( Rajpal Yadav ) loves her but didn’t have the courage to express his love to her. She was not allowed to leave for Mumbai but a plan made by Raja made everything worked. He asked her to marry him and then they can board the next train to Mumbai. She reached Mumbai but it was now a time of struggle for her. After a stretched struggle, Chutki gets a chance to appear in a music video. This made her fetch a film consisting of duplicate stars but the film didn’t do much.
