Mann was a romantic movie released on July 9, 1999 under the banner of Maruti International. The movie was directed by Indra Kumar and produced by Ashok Thakeria. The important roles in the movie were played by Sharmila Tagore, Manisha Koirala, Aamir Khan and Deepti Bhatnagar while the roles of Dilip Tahil and Shama Ghesawat were also important. Music of the film was directed by Sanjeev-Darshan while the songs were sung by Udit Narayan, Hema Sardesai, Anuradha Paudwal, Aamir Khan and Kavita Krishnamurthy.

The movie Mann was a romantic movie that revolves mostly around a playboy who loves beautiful and rich girls. He has an extravagant lifestyle and likes to spend a lot but for that he needed large sum of money which was not a problem as he was always gifted with expensive gifts by his girlfriends. The guy is Karan Dev Singh ( Aamir Khan ) who is always linked with actresses and models. He has always impressed the gals with his innocence and style of talking.

Karan, one day, decides to marry a rich person’s daughter and still manage to continue his flirty activities. He finds himself in an engagement with a billionaire’s daughter. He moves to Singapore and on his way back, wanted to visit his grandmother ( Sharmila Tagore ). Now since she lived on a small and remote island, he needs to travel there by sea. On the ship, he comes across Priya ( Manisha Koirala ) who was there as she won the Asian cultural festival in Singapore. Now he wanted to impress her but she was not the kind of girl he had come across till now.
