Mera Muqadar was an action movie that was released in the year of 1988. The movie was directed as well as produced by K Bapu. The significant roles in the movie were enacted by Amritraj, Prem Chopra, Swapna and Tanuja while Aruna Irani, Shakti Kapoor, Raj Babbar, Anita Raaj and Kulbhushan Kharbanda were also there in the film. The music of the film was directed by R D Burman while the songs were sung by Suresh Wadkar, Asha Bhosle and S.P.Balasubramaniam.

As the name of the movie Mera Muqadar suggests, the movie was an action movie that was filled by emotions of action and thrills at regular times. The movie was directed and produced by K Bapu for whom this was a special movie. This was his first film as a director. Though the movie did not do well but its release was surely noticed. The male lead in the film was played by Amritraj who was also debuting with this flick though as an actor.

The female lead in the movie was played by Swapna who has done many movies earlier like Haqeeqat released in 1965, Aage Ki Soch released in 1988 and Farishtay released in 1991 but her first film as an actress was Naya Darpan which was released in 1972. The negative role in the film was played by Prem Chopra who has done many hit movies earlier like Tahalka and Bunty Aur Babli while his first film was Hum Hindustani released in 1961.
