Bollywood romantic action drama, Mohabbat Ki Arzoo, directed by K. C. Bokadia was released in the year 1994. The movie starred Rishi Kapoor and Zeba Bakhtiar in lead roles while Mehmood, Ashwini Bhave, Kadar Khan, Jagdish Raj, Danny Denzongpa, Birbal and Mukesh Khanna also played important chartacters in the film. The hit melodious music of the movie was directed by the well knwon music director duo Laxmikant-Pyarelal while the songs were rendered by Ila Arun etc.

Young and handsome, Raja ( Rishi Kapoor ), is ana orphan and works as motor mechanic. Despite being a poor guy he always behaves like a rich man. He meets with a beautiful girl named Poonam ( Zeba Bakhtiar ) and introduces himself as a wealthy man to her. Poonam tells him that she is a poor girl and works as a school teacher. Their meeting on several occasions results in both of them falling in love with each other. Raja then tells her that he is just a motor mechanic and to his shcok, Poonbam also reveals that she is the daughter of the wealthy businessman named Rai Bahadur ( Mukesh Khanna ).

Poonam introduces Raja to her father, who gets angry on the thought of his daughter marrying a motor mechanic. He forbids her from seeing Raja anymore. He even forces her to get married with his friend’s son. It is then Raja decides to stand against Rai Bahadur for the sake of his love.
