Bollywood sexy siren, Payal Rohtagi, was born on 9 November 1980 in Hyderabad, India. She did her graduation in Computer Science from L.D. College of Engineering, Ahmedabad. She won the title of Miss Tourism World in 2001 and was also one of the finalist of the 2000 Femina Miss India contest. She began her career as a model and did many advertisement films. She was also seen alongside bollywood big gun, Amitabh Bachchan, in the advertisement film for Eveready battery.

She finally entered in the Hindi film industry with Harry Baweja’s multistarrer comedy film Yeh Kya Ho Raha Hai. However she went unnoticed in the film because of the long starcast of the movie. She then played her first lead role in a low budget sex comedy Tauba Tauba in which she made many heads turn with her hot scenes in the film. She then appeared in a guest appearnce in two movies titled Plan and Akshay Kumar starrer Police Force. She was next seen in the multistarrer suspense thriller 36 China Town.

She won several acclaims for her short role and the item number in Bipasha Basu starrer Corporate. She then appeared in another guest appearance in multistarrer comedy flick Dhol which starred Tusshar Kapoor and Tanushree Dutta in lead roles. Her last released bollywood flick was Ranvir Shorey and Mallika Shehrawat starrer Ugly aur Pagli in which she was once played a cameo appearnce. Right now she is one of the participant of the Colors channel reality show Bigg Boss Season 2.
