The action comedy movie Professor Pyarelal was released on June 5, 1981. The movie was directed by Brij and produced by T M Bihari. The key roles in the movie were enacted by Dharmendra, Vinod Mehra, Zeenat Aman and Simi Garewal while Shammi Kapoor, Amjad Khan, Shreeram Lagoo and Nirupa Roy were also there in the film. The music of the film was directed by Kalayanji and Anandji while the songs were sung by Asha Bhosle, Kishore Kumar, Manhar Udhas and Mohammed Rafi.

The movie Professor Pyarelal was a famous action cum comedy movie that revolved mostly round a man named Kishanchand ( Shreeram Lagoo ) who was once a good human but with the passage of time has taken crime as his career and was a master of forging passports. He was chased by police and on being asked to give up this thing by his wife Shanti ( Nirupa Roy ) and son Pyarelal ( Dharmendra ) he decides that he will become a simple human being.

The turn in the movie comes when one day Shyamlal comes to him and asks to make a fake passport for him and offers him a bag full of gold bars. Shyamlal escapes from the occasion but Kishanchand gets caught red handed by the Police Inspector Shinde and a scuffle follows in which Inspector Shinde gets killed accidentally. Kishinchand re-locates to London, England, where he is now known as underworld Don, King. He had no news of his family there.
