Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya was a romantic movie released on April 27, 2001 under the banner of Varma Corporation Ltd. The movie was directed by Rajat Mukherjee and produced by Ram Gopal Varma. The actors who played the lead roles were Fardeen Khan, Sonali Kulkarni, Urmila Matondkar and Suresh Oberoi while the supporting roles were played by Ravi Baswani and Rajpal Yadav. Music of the film was directed by Sandeep Chowta and the songs were sung by Sowmya Roah, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Sukhwinder Singh, Asha Bhosle and Sonu Nigam.

The movie Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya was directed by the famous director Ram Gopal Varma and the movie is known to be inspired from Michael Douglas and Glenn Close starrer Fatal Attraction. Ramu was so much impressed with the movie that he soon decided to make a similar movie and on the similar topic. But the production was not that easy, he finally succeeded with this movie in his third try. Ramu directed the movie with his favorite stars and claims that the movie is not at all a copy of the English flick.

The story of the movie is about a man who is a flirt by birth. Jai ( Fardeen Khan ), a fashion photographer loves to love ladies as much as he do to his wife Geeta ( Sonali Kulkarni ). While she is always suspicious of her husband’s activities, her suspicion shook her relationship with him. Meanwhile, Jai meets a model Ria ( Urmila Matondkar ) and for both of them it was like a fatal attraction for each other. Ria is a rich girl who always gets what she wants in her life and this time it is Jai what she wants.
