Bollywood family movie, Qurbaan, directed by Deepak Bahry and written by Vinay Shukla was released on May 31, 1991. The movie starred Salman Khan and Ayesha Jhulka in lead roles while Sunil Dutt, Kabir Bedi, Bharat Kapoor, Gulshan Grover, Goga Kapoor, Rohini Hattangadi, Kamaldeep, Ranjeet and Kunika also played important roles in the film. The music of the movie was directed by the well known music director Anand-Milind while the songs were beautifully crooned by Sukhwinder Singh, Udit Narayan, Suresh Wadkar, Abhijeet, Anuradha Paudwal etc.

Prithvi Singh ( Sunil Dutt ) and Maan Singh ( Bharat Kapoor ) are two big rivals of each other. They are fighting a case in the court. Court gives the result in favour of Prithvi Singh much to the anger of Maan Singh. Maan Singh hires a killer named Panna Singh ( Goga Kapoor ) for killing Prithvi. Panna plans to kill Prithvi but instead Prithvi’s sister and some other family members dies in the attack. Prithvi in return kills the family members of Maan Singh and then becomes a bandit.

Maan Singh’s brother, Suraj Singh ( Kabir Bedi ), who is a police officer by profession is determined to kill Prithvi. Years later, Suraj’s son, Akash ( Salman Khan ) meets with Prithvi’s daughter, Chandra ( Ayesha Jhulka ) and falls in love with her. They both are determined to get married with each other but their fathers told them not to see each other again. But the love birds are not in the mood of giving away their love so easily.
